Health and Happiness
One way of thinking of our bodies is like a very complex orchestra of instruments. When health is maintained, all the instruments in that orchestra are performing flawlessly to keep a resonance of harmony. When one of these instruments/systems goes out of balance through emotional or physical challenges then, it can effect this beautiful balance and a less than perfect resonance/frequency is emitted which can create ill health. Acupuncture along with related therapies can be thought of as a conductor of this complex yet capable to repair bio orchestra. After thousands of years of development, “acupuncture wouldn’t exist today if it wasn’t effective” acupuncture wisdom can tune the out of sync organ systems through signals and fine tuning frequencies sent from the exterior to the interior. This has the effect of returning the body to harmony/health before a slide to ill health occurs.
My treatments specialize in balancing the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems via stimulating the function of the vagus nerve. If adjustments can be made via acupuncture and other modalities including: cupping, gua sha, and light and sound therapy, the intent is to correct these imbalances early before they become ingrained and that is a much easier place to improve health and wellness and avoid complications and side effects from taking medications.
This is the true value of the treatments I specialize in and as the proverb goes…"it is better to dig a well before you're thirsty."
My recommendation for prevention is a once a month tune-up treatment to maintain the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, so the body functions stay nimble to maintain all aspects of physical and emotional health.
